The
Audio Community
Community
is a typical Anglo-Saxon definition for a group of
people that, for the most diverse reasons, share an
interest in the same matter or share at least partially
the same fate, or carry out similar tasks etc. The
word community sounds rather new to us Europeans.

This
is a light instalment, as, writing as I am (sorry
for the delay in translation, it's my fault, dear
English-speaking readers) during the hottest summer
I can remember, I am in trouble understanding what
I am thinking myself.
I have decided not to publish my review on the Peter
Gabriel SACD work, despite my previous intention
and declaration, as I have to keep a sound balance
between pop and classical music (I think I have
told you I am a classical music snob) ad as I don't
think these records are sonic threats in the first
place. Just one thing about PG SACDs: if you just
want one, get Up.

We
all know that the eBay auction site is, and has
been for some years now, one of Internet's institutions.
This site has become much more than a virtual marketplace
for every kind of item; it's a real global marketplace,
an universal store, where you can find, as the tagline
of a department store in London went way back when,
everything from the nail to the locomotive. We could
say that, on eBay, you can find everything from
the microchip to the supersonic airplane.
